The drinking culture on Boston College's campus is nothing new - but the University issued a new set of alcohol and drug sanctions last week to try to kick off a proactive effort to quell the growing problem on campus.
Listed on the Office of the Dean for Student Development's (ODSD) Web site, the minimum mandatory punishments for student violations of the school's drug and alcohol policy are expected to cause a stir on campus, but Vice President of Student Affairs Patrick Rombalski said it's a needed change.
